Prof. Petr Humpolíček receives the Rector’s Award
Prof. Petr Humpolíček has received the Rector’s Award. Prof. Vladimír Sedlařík awarded it to him for his outstanding creative activity and exceptional results in the field of basic and applied research. “I awarded the prize for the development activities of prof. Humpolíček in the field of basic research; as a mentor of the Biomaterials research line, he has been significantly contributing to the development of the Centre of Polymer Systems. The successful completion of the ‘Interaction of biomaterials with stem cells under in vivo simulated conditions’ project, project ID 19-16861S, where Mr. Humpolíček was the principal investigator, was a significant achievement ,” said prof. Vladimír Sedlařík, the TBU Rector and CPS Director.
The project was supported by the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic. The final evaluation of the project was ‘Excellent’. In the course of this project, 17 articles were published in journals registered in the WoS database.
Importantly, three papers were published in the first decile, thirteen articles in the first quartile and one article in the second quartile of journals ranked by impact factor.
