research
The group will concetrate on materials elements with sensor characters for hybrid and so-called programmable materials. Here external stimulus can change composite properties according to pre-programmed manner.
Multifunctional nanomaterials

research
Research group is interested in research and characterisation of composite materials capable of effective electromagnetic field energy absorption as well as accumulation of electric energy in various systems. Furthermore, attention is paid to systems with fast energy absorption in the maximum possible extent capable of its subsequent controlled release.

research
This research group is focused on studies and preparation of matrices for advanced biocomposite systems. Furthermore, some active components or components adding specific function are incorporated into these matrices in order to obtain novel biocomposites. Polymer gels and bacterial cellulose are envisaged for utilization as matrices. The eventual filler based on carbonates will be prepared in-situ directly in the matrix structure with the aid of biomimetic mineralization. Synthetic polypeptoids and polypeptoid nanosheets are used as the function property delivering agents as they are known to have a reasonable bio-activity.
