Tear and Fatigue Analyzer

Device is for:

The Tear and Fatigue Analyzer is designed to run the Tear-Analyzer Test (System Bayer) and Fatigue-Tests (S-N-Curves) for investigation of fatigue and fracture behaviour of polymeric materials and especially rubbers with respect to varied dynamic loading conditions. The unique system analyses quantitatively up to 9 test specimens, whereas 3 different dynamic loading conditions can simultaneously be applied, which significantly decreases the time demand of the analysis.

The system supports:

- Programmable strain profiles on main dynamic drives: sinusoidal, pulse, triangle, rectangle, user defined

- Setting of stress-level while running strain profiles - Measurement of forces, strain and crack propagation, which proceed online

- Stroke: 50 mm with resolution 1 μm

- Data sampling rate: 1000 points per cycle max. 1 kHz

- Loading frequency: 1 to 50 Hz

- Max force: 1.8 kN

- Max speed: 3 m/s

- Isolated chamber: temperature range up to 250°C

Test specimen geometry: SEN, Pure-shear, Dumbell Hantel, user defined
