Student Scientific Conference IGA 2018

In accordance with the Rector's Directive No. 13/2015, I hereby announce the Student Scientific Conference of the Center of Polymer System for 2018.

Competition rules:

• Students of doctoral and follow-up Master's degree programmes, who are members of the IGA / CPS project teams to be solved in 2018, can take part in the competition.
• Participation in the competition is not mandatory.
• Each participant may be a member of only one team.
• For each IGA / CPS project solved in 2018 only one team can complete.

Part of the application must be number of the relevant IGA project, name of the research group, names of the competing students, student number in the STAG database, identification of the form of study (doctoral, follow-up master) and preferred term of the competition performance. The subject of the email will be "SVK 2018". Applications are accepted until December 3, 2018.
• Each lecture team, supported with a presentation PowerPoint (or similar presentation type of software), will present the essence of the IGA project, the results achieved so far and their prospects for further research or applications. Term of presentation is on 12. 12. 2018.
• Expected time range of the presentation is 15 min.
• Presentations will be in English only.
• All members of the competition teams must participate actively (including their own presentation).
• Each contestant will receive a one-time reward in the form of:
  o Students of doctoral degree programmes: 5000 CZK
  o Students of follow-up master programmes: 2500 CZK
  o Students, who joined the IGA project after September 1, 2018, and actively involved in the SVK, are entitled to one-time scholarship of 30% of the above amounts. actively involved in the SVK.
• An expert jury composed of the members of the IGA CPS Evaluation Committee and the CPS Director will evaluate the competition.
• The first three winning teams will be awarded by the Director of CPS.
